  • What are the chances of having a "handicapped friendly" tour?

  • Florida Day Tours welcomes everyone! We will do whatever it takes to make sure you can take the trip you wish. Persons with walkers, or those who are mobile but use a fold-up wheelchair, can place those in the storage compartment on the bus.

    For any other concerns you are asked to contact us directly at (727) 322-9944 to discuss what special considerations that may be needed to assure you have a pleasant day tour.
    Persons with disabilities who normally need assistance will need to provide their own caregiver for the tours.
  • May I purchase tickets for the Florida day tours with cash the day of the tour?
  • Unfortunately no. We accept credit card payments for individuals and groups though our website and for larger groups' payment arrangements can be made through our travel office by calling (727) 322-9944.
  • I am allergic to perfume and colognes and usually shy away from group activities. Do you have a "No Perfume Policy" like those in doctors' offices?
  • Yes! For the comfort of all those who wish to travel through Florida with us, we have asked everyone to not wear perfumes, colognes and fragrances on the day of the tour. A statement to that affect is in our "Terms and Conditions" when you make your reservations for our Florida tours.
  • I want to schedule a Florida tour for my travel group. How do I do this on your web site?
  • Good question. Groups of 10-53 people should contact Florida Day Tours directly through our local business number to discuss a customized tour and discounts designed for your group. Contact (727) 322-9944 (Please leave message, someone will be back with you as soon as possible)
  • How long are your Florida day tours?

  • Florida Day Tours usually vary from 5 to 8 hours. A full description of each tour is found in the "View Tours" tab on the web page. Each tour will list its departure time and an estimated return time.
  • Where does the Florida tour begin?

  • In the tour description, you will find specifics on when and where your motor coach will depart. Florida Day Tours has arranged with several area malls to use their parking lots for places of departure. A link with directions will be included with each tour.
  • What if I am late for scheduled departure of the tours?

  • The motor coach will leave on its schedule departure time. Once on the tour and at one of our scheduled destinations, the bus must wait for anyone returning late. If you happen to arrive late and miss the tour we will do our best to reschedule you for one of our other tours.
  • Do I need to bring anything on my tour?

  • We recommend sunscreen, comfortable shoes and the appropriate attire for expected weather – anything from a hat to a light jacket. You don’t need to bring food or drinks as those will be provided.
  • Can you pick me up at my hotel?

  • At this time we do not offer transportation to or from local area hotels.
     
  • Can I book my trip through my hotel?

  • You can book tours online anywhere you have access to a computer that is connected to the internet or by calling us at (727) 322-9944
  • How far in advance must I book a trip?

  • All tours are subjected to availability. It may be possible to make next day reservations or you may not be able to find availability for some time. If you are having trouble finding a seat please email us and we will put you on a "Waiting List" or check back regularly for cancellations or added tours.
